The OrchardFor over 40 years the orchard has been tended to, cared for, and laboured over. Each year it has been protected from the dry South Australian weather, bushfires that have licked at its edges, and the constant creep of blackberry bushes threatening to strangle it. It is a testament to the time and work that it takes to nurture something into being and keep it alive.
A vibrant, saturated green surrounded by mottled eucalypts in the valley, the orchard is an oasis where nothing else appears, or needs, to exist. Looking up through the leaves, the harsh sun washes it all away.
